Be the Lighthouse (Poem)

It is easy to get mad,
It takes not much for us to get sad.

But it takes all the strength after a fight
To show up, to be love and to shine your light.

Be the Lighthouse, it’s never too late
To be someone’s haven and to help transform their hate.

To be a Lighthouse means to shine
No matter the situations you have in your life.

Even in the darkest night
Others will be able to see your light.

Help a stranger on the street
By getting him back on his feet

After he struggled so hard today,
Show him that he is on his way.

It is never too late to be at peace
Letting go of the dramas will let you be at ease.

Greet a stranger with a smile
Your impression can last a very long while.

You will see that by lending an ear
You can help others let go of their fear.

And you will see that by being the Light in the dark,
You will make a difference and kindle a spark.

Everyone will want to be like you -
And you will live in a world where dreams come true.
