Dark Night of the Soul

There are days where everything feels dark and cold.

We feel lost and don't know where to turn to.

Everything we touch, feels like it is leading us to nowhere.

Do you know that feeling?

Deep feelings of sadness, frustration, anger and sorrow fill us and the worst of all - regret.

We don't want to feel it.

We want to numb ourselves, distract ourselves with movies, shows, a book, a game...

But what if feeling this feeling will lead you out of these emotions?

What if
allowing yourself to be okay with feeling frustrated, angry, sad and regretful
and allowing it to pass through you,
could lead to the complete "Letting go" of this feeling and...

...let the sun come back into your life!

If we don't allow ourselves to feel, no matter how hard it is,
we won't be able to move on.

Life is about being in the moment.
Not in the past or future, but the present.

Yet we spend most of our life, regretting something we didn't do.

Realizing that the Darkness, too, shall pass, is the first step.

Allowing tears to flow and feeling into the deeper meaning of this sadness we feel,
is healing and will help to let go of whatever holds us in a tight grip.

No one has to be perfect.

You don't have to be perfect.

Whatever you are going through, know that you are NOT alone!

I am sending love to you and want you to know, that you can reach out, if you need help.

Come and find me - or anyone you trust, if you are going through

The Dark Night of the Soul.

i don’t think the dark night is that easy and simple.

    1. What in this description is “easy” or “simple”?
I have been there a few times in my life, including going through depressions at the age of 25 and beyond.
It’s why I can talk about it and help others understand it in a deeper way.
I am not a psychologist or therapist but I have been through quite a few Dark Nights of the Soul and also write more about it in other blogs.

Have you ever experienced a “Dark Night of the Soul”?

      We all experience life differently.
We all need to find our own way to get through this.
Yet to know, that we are not alone, is a good beginning.

      Don’t you think?

i think i was more thinking to myself here and happened to put it into text. i didn’t really mean to say your post was over simplified. it was quite interesting and on point. clearly, you’ve been through something. i have too, twice, in fact over the past 10+ years since the kundalini began. extremely difficult and challenging over an extended period of time. completely internalized in terms of trying to get through it, but most definitely affecting my outer world.

    1. Dear Matthew,
I am glad you went into a little more detail than in your first response.

We all lose friends and even family when we step into our power and/or awaken our Kundalini energy.

Humans are destined for greatness, but we allow society to form us, instead of walking our own path – and that can be very challenging and difficult.
And yes, most definitely does that affect our outer world.

I was 25 when I went through a huge phase of the Dark Night of the Soul, going through a depression. Back then I lived in Europe, at my childhood home, to recover.

I felt like I had no reason to live – no purpose. I was not suicidal, but numb. With no goals, no hope, feeling empty.

I felt like everything I was doing, everything that brought me joy, was taken away from me. I went to a therapist for almost a year – and did a lot of inner work, mostly healing on my own with a little help by being able to talk to someone.

That is definitely what helped me out of my situation – that is one of the many reasons why I myself became a life-coach. I studied psychology, but the path was too long and after studying psychology in Austria for 2 years, I decided that I should approach my other dream, being a singer.

Ever since the 2020 disaster, the world has changed even more and more and more people become depressed. The dreams and the lives we have dreamed of, are changing.

I can see that being a big problem in the world, so I want to offer my service at least, through my blog. One, to show that no one is alone – you included.

There is a lot more to share, but way too much for a small reply to your comment.
Thank you for opening up and reaching out.

the trouble for me with talking about kundalini related stuff with others online is that everyone seems to buy into how they think they’re supposed to now be, based on the books and ancient texts. i keep it real. once in a while i cross paths with someone who seems to see it like me, but not often.

      2. There is “reading” about the experience and there is “having” the experience.

The way I see it – there is no “one way”.

We all have individual experiences – and that in itself is amazing!

I very much enjoy exchanging ideas about spiritual topics and connecting to people from all over the world.

I am grateful that my fiancé is an amazing communicator. Sometimes we spend hours talking about a specific topic – which again inspires me to write about on my blog.

We have both been through a lot, and we have no problem talking about it with each other.

In any way, I very much enjoy interacting and sharing with people from all over the world.

I am glad you found to my blog, Matthew.

i posted my original ‘dark night of the soul’ post from a while ago in case you want to read it.

  3. i like your stuff. i have a “dark night” post too if you are inclined to read. that’s me, matthew, below, just a different login. trying to get them straight. writing is all over the place. i think i’ll start using this one though for the deeper spiritually related stuff. maybe, idk. do you have a personal kundalini awakening story or is the dark night unrelated to that?

    1. I will definitely and gladly read it. I think they idea of having a specific page for the deeper spiritually related stuff, is definitely a great idea!
