Feeling Worthy of this Divine Union

Here is the crux:

We often think we are okay and doing "the inner work", 
but we often don't even realize how deep the feeling of being "unworthy" goes... 

It doesn't start with meeting your partner, 
it often has roots in experiences from our own childhood 
or observing relationships from our parents or our own experiences 
of being in a bad relationship.


It's hidden within layers of layers within ourselves 
and sometimes this feeling is so smart - it loves to hide in between even more layers, 
so we can't even discover it until we dive deep into our soul.

It took me a very long time to realize 
that I was in the way of my own happiness, when I met my divine partner.

I used to be all about love, 
have a million books on that topic, dreamed of meeting my true love - 
but when True Love knocked at my door, I got scared.

You wouldn't know that, if you would have met me back then  - 
as a matter of fact, I bet with you that my Love, when he reads this, 
will be surprised about this confession - but it is true.

From the Outside, the topic of love occupied my very soul, 
I loved him more than anything and wanted nothing more than to be with Timothy. 

But on the inside, I was afraid. 
Scared to connect to someone so deeply, 
to give up part of my identity (of being a hopeless romantic) 
and transform into the queen I had always wanted to be...
 
I hid that so well, that I didn't even realize it myself - until one special day...

We were in separation and I was heart-broken, 
yet determined to give him all the space he needed - and myself as well.

Back then I lived in Brooklyn and I decided to take a walk to the ocean, to clear my head. 

Walking there by myself and decided to listen to a channeling from a wonderful psychic who did a reading for me.

I had listened to her message many times - but that day it finally HIT ME!

Her message was:
YOU HAVE SO MUCH POWER WITHIN YOU 
THAT THE ONLY ONE KEEPING YOU AWAY FROM YOUR DREAMS IS YOU YOURSELF.

Now, I know we have heard this a million times from all different kinds of new age people, 
Bashar, Abraham Hicks, gazillion life coaches - and I used to listen to them all - 
but that day I realized how right she was.

I realized that all this time I tried to find out why HE was "blocking" me, 
when in truth I was blocking myself...

I realized that the power alone was within me.

I just had to believe in us and know that we are meant to be!

That day I felt drawn to write my love, just one line.

"I miss you." 

We ended up talking for 3 hours that day and him picking me up.
Another 2 months passed by and we moved in together.

It is easy to say you are doing the inner work.

But it's not a once in a lifetime kind of thing, 
it is about empowering yourself and each other constantly, 
reminding each other how powerful the two of you are, 
especially if you shine so bright!

When you think you have gone all the way you could - do another step.

Go one step further, one layer deeper.

You will see how powerful it is 
when you realize that throughout all this time it wasn't your partner - 
but you - who blocked this connection in the first place.


And that if you are able to take off the layers of resistance of your own happiness - 
a Union with your Beloved is only smile away.
