Live from the (he)art (Life as an artist)

I am an artist.
I choose to live from my (he)art.

To see the world as a reflection of my inner being.

Just as every cell in my body has its own task and is needed,
so is each human 'being'.

In order for a writer to tell a story,
he has to observe life in many ways.
An artist creates from within by integrating the experiences s/he has observed outside of her/himself.

For some it may seem like this person is doing “nothing”
but in truth this person takes it all in, in order to translate what s/he sees into words.

S/he does not have to go through every single experience actively
in order to write about something but s/he needs to be able to imagine her/himself into this experience.

Feel those feelings and express these emotions.

We often don't see the process,
the endless hours of worries and fear of failure of an artist -
we only see the results and think success has to happen immediately...

But the truth is that Art comes with a price.

Success often comes after suffering, trauma,
deep dive into other worlds and hours of loneliness.

Asking questions no one else would ever ask...
It's not team-work, it is work from within.

So the path of an Artist can seem very lonely -
but it is very fulfilling once you are able to express yourself through your soul.

Is the path of an artist for everyone?
Absolutely not.

You have to go deep, question yourself and others around you -
and be as honest with yourself as you can...
My path has been very lonely at times.

Still, I would choose it again and again - because the journey begins within -
then it connects with the outside world - and once I understood myself,
I found a way to help others understand who they are -
walking new paths that others haven't been on before.

I am an artist.

I choose to live from my (he)art.

To see the world as a reflection of my inner being.

And that makes this world worth living for!
